Select Download free on this page. Your browser saves PDF Coast Installer.exe, a small installer made and signed by Microsoft.
Open it. Microsoft Store installs PDF Coast for you, usually in about a minute.
Open PDF Coast from the Start menu and drop a PDF onto the window.

So PDFs open in PDF Coast when you double-click them.

In File Explorer, right-click any PDF and choose Open with, then Choose another app.
Select PDF Coast in the list.
On Windows 11, choose Always. On Windows 10, tick Always use this app to open .pdf files and choose OK.

Microsoft Store installs new versions automatically. To check now, open Microsoft Store, go to Library and choose Get updates.

Open Settings, go to Apps, find PDF Coast and choose Uninstall. Your PDFs are not touched.
